In a unexpected collaboration that breaks usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Disclosed
According to the official announcement, "A mysterious meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of banned practices and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The plot features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden group.
The questline focuses on "strange trials and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Changes
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Bonus Content
Players who accomplish the quest will receive an exclusive katana together with numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
