The former president's Family Member Seeks Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut
The rising star has substantial social media following
The young golfer will have plenty of well-known cheerleaders as she begins her first LPGA appearance later this week.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
The former president, an avid golfer, owns several golf courses and regularly plays against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she stated.
The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."
"He basically advised me to go out there and relax," she explained.
"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
Being non-professional, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions in 2024 and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she's able to receive tips from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He stands as the top athlete worldwide," Kai expressed.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive individual. He told me to go out there, have fun, and go with the flow."
She'll challenge some of most prominent players in women's golf at the Annika, featuring world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
The LPGA commented that Kai's presence brings the sport to wider groups, especially with younger fans.
Kai has substantial online presence and has started her own clothing and lifestyle label.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
